Dallas Trip

We took a weekend trip up to Dallas for my birthday to see some family and friends.  We enjoyed spending time with all of our friends and family up there.  We got to see Matt and Allison’s baby for the first time, Connor.  He is so freaking cute!  We really miss being up there were all of our friends are.  Sucks that we can’t be there all the time.

On the flight back we were delayed about 2 hours.  I am guessing that it had something to do with the weather since it was raining in Dallas and in Houston.  The captain said something about being redirected on our flight plan and that ended up taking another 30 minutes for the flight in.  Not to mention the fact that it was an extremely rough flight and landing thanks to weather.  Oh well, at least we made it back in one piece, now back to the daily grind.

It’s a boy!

I almost forgot, but on Friday Debi and I finally got to find out if it is a boy or a girl!  It is a boy!  I will post the pictures soon!

David Ramirez – Taft Street Coffee

We had the pleasure to go and see David Ramirez play at Taft Street Coffee on Saturday.  As always, a wonderful show!  David is the epitome of an entertainer.  His music is so good in fact that our unborn child was obviously dancing around in Mom’s belly while we were listening.  A note on Taft Street Coffee, the venue is amazing.  Small and very intimate setting for a great show.  The artwork on the walls was amazing and very intriguing.  Taft Street Coffee is a Fair Trade coffee shop.  I have a new love for coffee outside of Starbucks now!  I will hopefully be able to post up some pictures here soon of the show!

Our New Site

I am finally getting around to setting up our family website.  It is getting close to baby time and we need a place to put everything online for family to see!  We will post video, photos and updates on what is going on in our life just in case people don’t have a chance to talk to or see us.  There will be many changes over the course of the next few weeks on the site, so keep your eyes peeled and I hope that you will enjoy the site!
